30th birthday

I have all these cards to post so thoguht it was about time I up dated mt blog. I wish I was organised like some friends. It was my future daughter in laws birthday this week and she doesn't want to leave her 20'sLOL so I made this for her.

Missed post Less Is More

I've just noticed that I never posted on Friday even though I had a card ready to show you.

I go to the Less Is More blog because they have some lovely ideas and a couple of weeks ago the theme was birds. Well looking through my stash and the only one I could find was an easter chick so here is what I did with it. It just goes to show that you don't always need to use so much on a card but can still have a great result.  If you have never been onto the blog please go for a look and you will be inspired. x

Sunday Santas

Well thats another week over and nearly out of January now thank goodness.
Our theme this week is not traditonal and on looking through all my folders I found this image and backing papers that I printed off when I got the cd but never got round to making a card with it.
I love purples which is probably why I printed it off. I have used some of MCS snow on the image to give it a bit of depth and glittered the edges of the paper. To finish I've used a a greeting from some I bought years ago.  Is it only me who has products for years and not done anything with them!!!

Brother Birthday

For todays card I have used a Flippin Men stamp but just the front. I've coloured him in with my Pro markers.  The backing papers are "left-overs" from my stash, I love using up papers like this.

The buttons were some I bought on a trip to America a few years ago but I thought they were apt for this card. The layout is the same one I used in the previous card I posted yesterday, just a slight adjustment.

Sunday Santas

Thought it was about time I started blogging my cards again so were to start?
I joined Sundays santa on Facebook last year and evey Sunday we make a christmas so that come christmas we have a good stash at hand. We have a theme and this week it was Santa.

I found some stickers I bought last year and seeing as my colouring in is not the best I thought I would use a sticker.Hope you like the results. My aim now is to try a post everyday, maybe not always a card but at least a post of some thing.

Lattice Card

I need to do something to keep my sanity and as I have no craft space at the moment due to having to gut the room ready for repairs it was a case of what can I get to.  Well I have these 4 fold cards with a jigsaw peice cut out that I have had for a few years and not used, so thought I wonder if I can make a lattice card with them and the answer is yes. I cut the last fold off and used it for the strips, then cut the jigsaw into the middle fold so that you can see through. In one corner I used a Sarah Kay decoupage , I inked the edges of the puzzle lightly and to finish I used some small roses ribbon and a greeting.

Sunday Santa

This weeks card theme is Father Christmas and the only stamp I have is quite a big one. I finally got it how I wanted but in the top corner it was missing something so I put the Holly cause I couldn't find a flower or the paper to make one. I feel the holly has spoiled it a bit, but as I'm feeling really down I just couldn't be bothered to change it. Having a hubby who has a poorly foot but won't help himself is beginning to get to me. He just sits on the sofa all day, he won't put any socks on cause he says they hurt and won't wear a shoe of any kind. I'm at my wits end as to what to do.
Sorry for raving on a bit but I could really do with some hugs.
