This card is another go at using nothing but my dies. I have got some Marianne flower dies and used a Martha Stewart punch all round. To finish it off I have used some pearls and a little tag message, only when I stuck the tag on I noticed it was the wrong way. But as we say in crafting it's just a happy accident and I have just put the card landscape instead of portrate.

Owl Card
This a crad I was asked to make for a friend at work for her husband. She wanted an Owl theme so hope she likes the result.
I have also stamped around the insert with the same flourishes I have used around the topper.

Another Week gone
Gosh aren't the weeks going by quickly? I have been busy card making but only taken photo's of a couple of them. My first card is for my christmas card for this weeks theme which is Ribbon. I had umpteen attempts before I settled for this as I knew what I wanted but couldn't work it out right.

Die cut card
Sorry I've not posted for a while but I have been making cards, but not posting them on here.
Well this week I thought I would share my first attempt at this kind of card. I have been watching a Dutch lady who in my opinion makes the most gorgeous cards and I finally gave in and had a go. Here is the card.
I have used spell-binders for the back-ground, corners and the flower is the Poinsetta die. The swirls are a Marianne design, the first layer is a Martha Stewart punch and finally the next layer is a Nellie Snellon. I have used Tim Holtz ink to get it some depth and finished ogreeting.ff with peel-offs butterfly(because I don't have a punch) and greeting.
Please leave your comments after looking .
Hugs Vanessa.

Purple and Green
This weeks theme on our Sunday Santa was chosen by me, so I picked a two colour theme purple and green because I have some candy of these colours. I coloured the image with pro markers and chalked the edges to take away the harshness of white. I then used backing paper from Hunky Dory Hope you like the card. Thanks.
ANother Week.
Well that is another week gone by so quickly. It has been lovely weather up here so I have spent some time in the garden for a change. I've been pricking out my seedlings today trying to get ahead for a change. I saw some cards made using Flower fairies and remembered that I bought sheets of them a few years ago but never got around to using them and yes I mean sheets. Well here are the results. My daughter is going to take them to my grand daughters nursery to see if they will sell, hopefully they do so that I can make more cards.

Santas on Sunday
This week on our Sunday Santa over on facebook the challenge was "Monocromatic" and after much thought and how can I get a black and white card I could not figure out anything. But then I saw another card with the theme and the person had used brown and cream, which gave me more thought and I came up with black gold and white. So after a search through my stash I came up with this card. Hope you like it.
