Football Card

It was my friends birthday yesterday and we were in Hospitality at the football so I made this card for her. Our team play in black and white colours so I stamped the image with Tim Holzt ink then water coloured it. I love stamping this way as I'm not too good at colouring and shading like some of my friends.

Lace card

I love to look at the way the Dutch ladies make cards. They are so exquisite and last weekend whilst looking at some of my favourite blogs I came across a card that I thought "Have a go yourself". So this week I did using the resorces I have and came up with this.
This is how it looks all tied up. I struggled with the measurements as I'm not too good at working things out, but I was so determined to get it right.

And this is how it looks when opend up. The image I bought from the Kanban factory a couple of years ago. the white embossed card is using my new embossing folder. The flowers are crealies with a pearl from my stash and the leafy things up the side are new dies from marianne design. The flap is a marianne corner die and The strip is a new Spellbinder die.

Never Seen Ink

Today on our Sunday santas challenge is Never seen ink.
I have quite a few of these stamps and decided to use this one that I've had for a few years now but couldn't think how to use it. It is a lovely stamp to use and will  be using it again soon.

Son's Birthday card

I was looking through soem clear boxes at items I have never used and came across the japanese type of papers. My son loves anything Japanese so I thought I would use them for his birthday card.
I must have taken the ribbon from something at christmas and it was a great colour match so covers up the crease line .

Another card

This started out as a card for a friend but I decided to send a different one instead.
I thought my grand daughter would like to send it someone because she loves pink. x

Sundays with santa

Last weeks theme was snowflakes and I was looking through some of my cd's I haven't either used or used for a long time. Well I came across this snowflakes paper so thought here goes.
I also haven't done t-bag folding for a while so decided that was what I was going to do. After I posted it one of the comments was theeat the t'bags looked like a flake!

Sunday with santa

This week our theme is Polka Dots and over at less is more the challenge is Scraps
The brown is left over from something and already embossed. The gold was also left over so I put it through an embossing folder.
The Toppers are Hunkydory and to finish it off I have used some candy.
