Sundays with Santa

Hello. I was late posting this for yesterday due to my sister coming to visit and as she lives 300 miles away we had a lot of chatting to do before i rushed off to work.
This weeks challenge was Anything Goes so I got looking through my magazines and found a rocker card so this is my first attempt.  don't have a circle dies so used an oval instead. It turned out ok and I am quite happy with it so will definately have another go with this kind of card.

The image was a freebie from a past magazine and the papers are Jolly Happy Christmas by Dovecraft. I punch the flakes out and finished it off with jewels on the flakes and a bow.
Thanks for looking. x

Scarecrow

I am a member of Jammie Pandas on facebook and a couple of months ago Fee gave us some free papers and toppers to do whatever we wanted with them. Well I printed some off but that was as far as it went until today and here is the card.

I bought the brown card from Anne Marie at Doncaster last weekend and just distressed the edges then did the faux stitching. To finish off I found some straw like raffia for a bow. I really like the image and I know it is more a happy Holidays card I think it will be ok for my RAK card this month.
Thanks for looking. xx

Sundays with santa

This weeks challenge over on Sundays with santa was "White on White". I love the results you can achive with this technique.  I bought a Memory die last weekend down in Doncaster and was determind to use it. I took a square card and cut a smaller peice and went round the edge pricking it. Then I took another smaller card and embossed it in a Snowflake folder and rounded the edges.I then used my new dies which is a Wreath and punched lots of leaves used another punch for some small flowers and finally cut a few swirls. Using decoupage glue I started putting it together. To finish I put some small pearls in the centre of the flowers.
Just realised that I put a greeting at the bottom too.
Thanks for looking. xx

Pinterest inspiriation

These two cards are similar to what I have seen on Pinterest. There is so much inspiration on there it is unbelievable. The first card is an image I have had for about 10 years now. It was a no stamp required pack I bought from Steph before she was on C & C.
The second card I saw in black and white but thought it would be just as nice in dark blue which I had lots of spare. I used a new Marianne die to cut out the shape and the flowers are memory dies. Thankyou for looking.x

Wedding Invite

A friend at my work told me last week that she is getting married on August 3RD!!!!It is only a small get together because thay have been with each other for 14 years. I always said that if it ever did happen I would gladly make her invites. She want something simple with tartan on the front. There are 3 thistles  which you can just see and the ribbon is Black watch which means a lot to the people of Scotland. Thanks for looking. x

I was asked to make a baby card so I made the blue butterfly car first but then thought it was too dark.
So I made the animal card using some toppers and then inking a strip across the top of the card which matched the tag topper. Only I thought it wasn't quite right so made a third card. Guess which one I sold..........the green card. Mind you I did like it myself. So which card would you choose? I would love to hear, thanks.

Sundays santa

I am starting to catch up with my blog posts. Sorry for not keeping up but looking after the girls 3 days a week is quite tiring but I wouldn't change it.My first card is from my Sunday santa on facebook and the theme was to use our dies.I saw a card like this on pinterest so had an attempt. I used some pearl card that was left over and made a square card. I cut the fancy frame and mounted it using foam. The flower is a My Craft Studio one and I cut extra leaves. When I looked at the card though it was missing something as the card was too big, so I used Memory Dies for the corners which did the trick. I used a sentement for the "prop" to make it an easel card.

Sundays santa

This weeks theme on Sunday Santa is favourites, and a friend of mine has started her own blog with a challenge so I thought I would combine the two together.
The image is one of the Adorables which I do like and have used often. My papers are Bearly Mine and to finish I have used a Martha Stewart punch and some brads.
Sorry it is a quick post but I have been called into work early. Will post all my other cards tomorrow.

Thanks for looking.
