RE CYCLE CARD

I was looking through my cards I have made up and thought how awfull some of my early cards are so I decied to have a go at re-making this. I think it looks so much better now.

Heart card

I went down to Yorkshire last week and along to the craft fair at the Show ground.  One of the things I bought was this gorgeous heart stamp.  Hope you like the results.

Sparkles

This week our theme is sparkles.......or so I thought so I did a lot of glittering on the back-ground paper and the snow flakes and image.  Well I did enjoy myself and am now covered in the stuff.!!!

Holly

This weeks theme on our Sunday santas over on facebook is Holly. I hadn't realised last week when I did that card as the stamp I used that had never seen ink was Holly. ANyway I was looking through my download for this image and came across the papers I have used. I so love the colour. I managed to find matching card and used my Holly Spellbinders dies. Hope you like the result. The image and papers are from Cuddly Buddy.

Baby Cards

My next two cards are baby ones. I saw a card like this made by a dutch lady and so liked the die that I bought it myself. I have made both a pink and a blue card but not put any wording on yet until I know who it is for. I used my oddments of white card and pink  and blue so it has really cost me pennies.  I like cards that don't cost much to make!!!!

Ruby Wedding

My first card this week is a ruby wedding for a friend of mine. I can't believe she has been married 40 years AND younger then me!!!
I used red card at first but it didn't give me the WOW factor so I decided to use red mirri and the result was so much better.
Thanks for looking.

Football Card

It was my friends birthday yesterday and we were in Hospitality at the football so I made this card for her. Our team play in black and white colours so I stamped the image with Tim Holzt ink then water coloured it. I love stamping this way as I'm not too good at colouring and shading like some of my friends.

Lace card

I love to look at the way the Dutch ladies make cards. They are so exquisite and last weekend whilst looking at some of my favourite blogs I came across a card that I thought "Have a go yourself". So this week I did using the resorces I have and came up with this.
This is how it looks all tied up. I struggled with the measurements as I'm not too good at working things out, but I was so determined to get it right.

And this is how it looks when opend up. The image I bought from the Kanban factory a couple of years ago. the white embossed card is using my new embossing folder. The flowers are crealies with a pearl from my stash and the leafy things up the side are new dies from marianne design. The flap is a marianne corner die and The strip is a new Spellbinder die.

Never Seen Ink

Today on our Sunday santas challenge is Never seen ink.
I have quite a few of these stamps and decided to use this one that I've had for a few years now but couldn't think how to use it. It is a lovely stamp to use and will  be using it again soon.
